Nowadays in Mexico we have some schools that are specialized in teaching English as a Foreign Language. Also English has become an important subject at public schools.
In both cases teachers can make good use of technology. However, private schools and English language schools usually have more resourses to take advantage of.
Using technology while teaching English is now an everyday activity.
Some of the tools we can use are:

Also there are on the Internet many web-sites and apps that help students to practice the language.

It allows teachers to create interactive quizzes, which can reinforce learning, assessment as well as feedback can be in real time.

It allows teachers to organize a complete course of lesson, they can add materials, give feedback and monitor their students.

Doulingo.
It is an app where students practice vocabulary, grammar and listening in a game like athmosphere.
Whichever technological resources are in the schools, access to internet is possible in almost all the country and some technology can be used.
FUTURE PERSPECTIVES
What is the future of Teaching English as a Foreign Language and the insertion of technology in it?
Although the Future might be different than we expect. We can see the progress that there has been in the country. How it went from using just a book to have at least a CD-player and the possibility of using a computer an internet connection in the classroom. Following that path in the future we can expect more schools to include better equipment and a digital world within reach.
